Terms of use

Creating a memorial
By creating a memorial you confirm that you are a family member of the person being remembered, or that you have the family's authority to create and manage it. Memorials created without that authority will be removed on request.
What you upload
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant EverRemember permission to store it and show it to the people you authorise. Please do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
Music
Music uploaded for a slideshow must be music you have the right to use. Playing recorded music at a public gathering may require a licence, which is your responsibility rather than ours. If you are unsure, the venue or funeral director can usually advise.
Guest contributions
Messages and photographs sent by guests belong to those guests. The family may approve, decline, hide or delete them. A contribution marked private by the guest must not be published.
Access links
Slideshow and guest links are unguessable but are not secret once shared. Treat a printed QR code as public. A link can be revoked at any time from the memorial's access page, which stops it working immediately.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and backed up, but it is provided without warranty. Keep your own copy of anything irreplaceable — the family portal can export photographs, messages and a printable Memory Book at any time.
Removal
We may suspend or remove a memorial that breaches these terms, that is reported as created without authority, or that is used to harass or distress others.
